Advanced Yoga Poses: Techniques & Instruction (Part 8)

#71. Yoga Advanced - Intense arm right stretch pose
Put your feet apart at your leg length. Stretch your arms to your sides. Rotate your right foot 90 degrees, and left foot 15 degrees to the right. Rotate your pelvis and torso as far right as you can. Raise your hands and arch backwards a bit. Start bending your torso towards your right leg stretching your torso and arms forward. Put your hands on the mat and lift your right toes. Arch a little trying to move your stomach closer to your thigh. Keep both your legs straight. Look straight.

#72. Yoga Advanced - Staff pose with left leg up
Take the plank pose with straight arms and move your weight a little more to your hands. Bend your elbows keeping your legs at your hips' width. Raise your straight left leg. Try to keep your body parallel to the floor in one line.

#73. Yoga Advanced - Half-lotus pose, right leg up
Sit on the floor, cross your legs. Helping with your hand, put your right leg on your left thigh. Try to rotate your foot to the thigh closer to your groin. Put your hands on your knees, palms up.

#74. Yoga Advanced - Side plank pose, right leg up
Take the plank pose. Move your weight onto your left hand. Rotate your torso lifting your right hand from the floor. Raise your right leg.

#75. Yoga Advanced - Side plank pose, right hand grab
Take the plank position. Move your weight onto the left hand. Rotate your torso lifting your right hand from the floor. Bend your right knee and grab your toes with your right hand. Try to straighten your right leg up.

#76. Yoga Advanced - Lotus in shoulderstand advanced
Lie on the back. Lift your straight legs and move them behind your head. Support your back with your hands as low as possible and move your legs and torso vertically up. Cross your legs as you would in the lotus pose. Raise your legs vertically up. Stretch your arms on the mat behind your back and clasp your hands.

#77. Yoga Advanced - Half-lotus pose, left leg up
Sit on the floor, cross your legs. Helping with your hand, put your left leg on your right thigh. Try to rotate your foot to the thigh, closer to your groin. Put your hands on your knees, palms up.

#78. Yoga Advanced - One-legged crane pose right leg up
Squat down. Put your palms on the floor and straighten your legs. Press your knees against your shoulder bone closer to your armpits. Move your weight forward to your arms and try to lift your feet from the floor. Balance on your hands. Try to move right knee away from your arm and straighten it. Balance on your hands.

#79. Yoga Advanced - Monkey king pose with rotation to left leg, hands up
Do the left leg front split. Rotate your torso to the left and straighten your torso and your arms up.

#80. Yoga Advanced - Right half-bound lotus intense stretch pose
Stand up straight. Bend your right leg and put your right foot on your left thigh, as close to your groin as you can. Grab your right big toe with your left hand. Bend your torso forward. Bring your right hand behind your back and grab your right toe. Bend your torso further forward. Put your left hand first on the floor, then on your left leg.
